Description

Built and designed by Hutchins Corporation in Clearwater Florida, the Com-Pac 25 is a trailerable boat with a lot of volume not found on many other 25-footers. At 8.5’ she can be towed without a permit. She has accommodations for 5 with standing headroom, L-shaped galley and a privately enclosed head. She has the typical Com-Pac finish on the deck with bronze opening ports and hardware of both bronze and stainless steel. Below decks she is rich with teak and bronze fittings. There is a bi-fold table that stows on the bulkhead when not in use and one leaf lowers for uninhibited access to the...

Captain's Notes

Step aboard and you’ll notice how this 25-footer feels like a “big boat” once the companionway slides shut behind you. Light spills in through those eight opening ports, so the cabin never feels cave-like, even on gray days. The catbird stern seats are the place to be under sail—out of the way of sheets but with a clear view of the telltales and horizon. With a fresh Tiller Pilot, you can let the helm steer while you trim, make coffee, or simply sit forward and enjoy the ride. Paired with the dual-battery setup, hot-and-cold pressure water, and real marine head with holding tank, this is a pocket cruiser that invites long weekends, not just afternoon hops.

Why Com-Pac 25 in Wisconsin

For local waters that mix skinny channels with open stretches, this Com-Pac 25 hits a sweet spot. She’s easily trailerable at legal beam, so you can launch where the conditions are best instead of being tied to one marina. The moderate sail plan and responsive tiller make short-handed sailing realistic when afternoon breezes pipe up, while the roller-furling headsail keeps sail changes simple. At anchor in quiet coves, the roomy interior, enclosed head, and hot water system turn overnights into relaxed mini-cruises. When it’s time to haul out before storm season or chase a different cruising ground, the tandem galvanized trailer makes moving the boat straightforward and budget-friendly.
